  • Online Application & Deadlines

    Fall admission is open to all students: full-time, part-time, international, and domestic. The deadline to apply for Fall admission is May 15th. All required materials must be submitted by that date.

    Fall Priority Deadline: Full applications received by Feb 1 will receive an admission decision by Mar 1 and will have priority considerations for tuition waivers. 

    Spring admission is open to all students: full-time, part-time, international, and domestic. The deadline to apply for Spring admission is December 1st. All required materials must be submitted by that date.

    Spring Priority Deadline: Full applications received by October 1 will receive an admissions decision by Nov 1 and will have priority considerations for tuition waivers.

  • Application Fee

    An $85.00 non-refundable application fee is paid online upon submission of the application.

  • Statement of Purpose

    The statement of purpose is the most important element of your application packet. This letter needs to reflect who you are, and the letter should detail why you are pursuing this degree, and why you want to earn this degree from our program at the University of Miami.

    It is very important to ensure it is grammatically correct and as detailed as possible. The statement of purpose should be no more than two pages in length.

  • Letters of Recommendation

    Three letters of recommendation must be provided. The letters of recommendation should come from references who are familiar with the applicant's educational and/or professional abilities.

  • Official Transcripts

    You must provide official transcripts from each post-secondary institution attended.

    *Official transcripts in languages other than English must also be submitted with a certified English translation.

  • Grade Point Average (GPA)

    A minimum overall undergraduate grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

  • International Students
